Help bring speakers to NORML@UCF!!

Hi buds!

NORML@UCF stands for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws at the University of Central Florida.

We are the largest collegiate chapter of NORML and have been up and running since 2001. Our goal at NORML@UCF is to create awareness about marijuana laws and their relation to constitutional rights on and around the UCF campus in order to help bring about the eventual legalization of the possession, use, and cultivation of cannabis.

In order to meet our goal, every year we host different events, and bring in speakers to talk about their legalization efforts and share their personal experiences with students on the UCF campus. Some of these speakers include:

Keith Stroup
Founder of NORML

Rick Cusick
Associate Publisher of High Times magazine and

Elvy Musikka
Federal patient and recipient of monthly canisters of marijuana cigarettes

Madeline Martinez
Sole proprietress of the World Famous Cannabis Cafe

Paul Armentano
Deputy Director of NORML and the NORML Foundation

and many others!

In order to bring these wonderful speakers to Orlando to spread their knowledge and personal experiences, we must pay them each an honorarium, which ranges from $50 to as much as $1500. Because we are a registered student organization at UCF, we can recieve some funding from SGA, but the rest comes from membership dues, and donations from our members and followers! While this does help cover some costs, it’s not always enough. Please donate to our activist group so we can continue to bring these impassioned speakers to our meetings! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and even more if you decide to donate.
